Introduction

Manasija Monastery is an important religious and cultural center in Serbia in the early 15th century. It was built by Stefan Lazarević, the son of Prince Lazar, and is considered a milestone in Serbian medieval monasteries and the pinnacle of Serbian medieval monastic architecture.
