(Latest opening time: October 15, 2018 - May 15, 2019) The Similan Islands consist of nine islands: Koh Huyong (Island 1), Koh Payang (Island 2), Koh Payan (Island 3) is a sea turtle breeding protection area; Koh Miang (Island 4) allows island visits; Koh Bon (Island 5), Koh Phayu (Island 6) are two large rocks connected together, great for snorkeling; Koh Pabu (Island 7) has a high chance of encountering sea turtles while snorkeling; Koh Similan (Island 8) is the main island with a lighthouse and allows island visits, it is the largest island where you can also experience rock climbing and hiking; Koh Bangu (Island 9) is a great spot for snorkeling and you can see stunning coral.
