Introduction

This library located in Rajasthan was originally built in 1887 and is one of the oldest buildings in the area. Initially, its owner Ram Singh hoped to make it into a town hall, but later Madho Singh II decided to convert it into the Jaipur Art Museum and include it in the new Ram Vivas Garden. The museum has a diverse collection of art, including paintings, carpets, ivory, stone, metal sculptures, and ceramics. When King Edward VII (Albert Edward) visited the city as the Prince of Wales, he officially renamed the museum to its current name.
