Introduction
The Seven Colored Earths is one of the famous natural landscapes in Mauritius. It is named after the seven different colors of soil formed by volcanic lava and chemical changes caused by sunlight. Within the scenic area, the wavy Seven Colored Earth dunes create a beautiful panorama that attracts many tourists. The journey to the scenic area is about three to four kilometers and includes a visit to the famous Chamarel Waterfall. The Seven Colored Earths is a closed park with a ticket booth at the entrance. In the center of the park, there is a wooden-fenced area with colored soil dunes, and there are viewing platforms on both sides of the slopes to overlook the beautiful scenery. There is also a restaurant and souvenir shop on the viewing platform on the left.
