Introduction

China-Pakistan Friendship Highway: also known as the Karakoram Highway, starting from Kashgar, passing through the Khunjerab Pass, with a total length of 1,032 kilometers, ending at the Torkham Port in Pakistan with a total length of 416 kilometers. During the construction of the road, about 700 people from both China and Pakistan sacrificed their lives, laying the foundation for the strong friendship between the two countries. The China-Pakistan Friendship Highway is the highest and most beautiful road in the world, with the lowest point at an altitude of 1,154 meters and the highest point at an altitude of 4,733 meters, which is the Khunjerab Mountain Pass. It has been recognized as one of the "World's Top Ten Dangerous Roads".
