The Daimai Mountain Scenic Area is located at the junction of the Chinese territory, situated on the southern bank of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir in the northern part of Xin'an County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. The planned area covers approximately 75 square kilometers. The area is known for its Red Rock Gorge, layered geological formations, wave patterns, rock collapses, and the picturesque Biwater Bay, which represents the dramatic changes that occurred in the North China landmass over a span of 800-1,200 million years. These features showcase the magnificent scenes of ancient sea waves and mountain collapses, making the area highly valuable for research and appreciation. To the west of the Daimai Mountain Scenic Area is the Jinlingjian River, which separates it from the Jingzi Mountain.
