Introduction

Dream Valley is a rare, secluded canyon discovered during the development of the Taoist cultural area by the Laojunshan Scenic Area Management Bureau. The primitive forest in the ten-mile long canyon is lush and abundant, with beautiful mountains and clear waters, flowing waterfalls and springs, shallow streams and deep pools, and mysterious rocks and valleys. It was here that Li Er, a famous philosopher and thinker from the pre-Qin period and the guardian historian of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, began his journey to find a place of seclusion in the vast Funiu Mountain, ultimately becoming the founder of Taoism. In Dream Valley, the Four Dreams of Life are not illusory; you can truly see the tangible embodiment of the Four Dreams of Life. In the "Fu" Garden, there are scenic spots such as the "Prayer Bridge," "Gourd Pond," and "Bagua Stone." Particularly noteworthy is the "Birth" landscape, which vividly demonstrates the process of life and the propagation of offspring through the combination of Yin and Yang; it also warns that those driven by greed will never find satisfaction.
