Introduction

Guangzhou Art Museum is located on the lakeside at the foot of Baiyun Mountain, with a total investment of nearly one billion yuan. The Art Museum is a modern large-scale art museum that is unique in the country, integrating the halls of famous artists, thematic exhibition halls, and exchange exhibition halls. Masters of the Lingnan School of Painting such as Guan Shanyue, Zhao Shao'ang, Li Xiongcai, Yang Shanshen, and Yang Zhiguang, as well as calligraphy and painting masters like Lai Shaoqi and Liao Bingxiong, and collectors such as Ou Chu and Zhao Tailai, all have dedicated halls named after them in the Art Museum. Guangzhou Art Museum is now a patriotic education base and is free and open to the public.
