Introduction

Yaojia Mountain is the location of the political and administrative organ of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army during the Anti-Japanese War. The scenic area is located in Yaoshan Village, Caidian Street, Huangpi District, Wuhan City, with the main peak Huanggushi at an altitude of 869 meters. It is 89 kilometers away from the city center of Wuhan, 18 kilometers from Xiahe exit of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, with convenient transportation. The planned area of the scenic area is 21,800 mu, divided into the Red Yaoshan Revolutionary Old Area and the Green Valley Leisure Resort Area, with 35 developed attractions. It is a "red and green" characteristic tourist area integrating the Red Yaoshan "New Fourth Army Fifth Division Historical Exhibition Hall", scenic sightseeing of Xigu mountain water and rock canyons, outdoor mountaineering adventures in Donggu Valley, jungle crossing and red leaves exploration in Nanchong, rural leisure living in Yaoshan old village, and health resort with hot springs.

Bus: Take bus P120 to Yaojiashan (bus stop) in Caidian Street and it is within walking distance.
