Introduction

Xiyuan is the largest private garden in Xitang Ancient Town. After reconstruction in 1993, it presents a typical Jiangnan garden style. At the entrance of the garden, there is a small bridge and a stone lion hall. The vegetation in the garden is rich, and the rockeries, pavilions and ponds are arranged in a scattered manner. There are also pavilions on the rockeries, among which the hexagonal pavilion is called the "Drunken Snow Pavilion" because it is located in the position of "Little Mountain Drunk Snow" which is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Xitang. Recently, exhibition halls such as Zhu Nianci Fan Art Museum, Baiyin Hall, and Nanshe Exhibition Hall have also been newly opened, where you can deeply understand the history and culture closely related to Xiyuan.
