Introduction
Drunk Garden was originally a side hall of the Wang's mansion, a prominent family in Xitang, with four courtyards. There is also a "Wang Father and Son Print Gallery" in the garden to display and promote family culture. The term "Drunk Garden" has three meanings: the first layer is "Drunk Scripture Hall", which means the spiritual realm of being immersed in reading scriptures and was personally built by Wang Zhi Xi, a famous calligrapher and painter of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty; the second layer is the ingeniously crafted pond and buildings in the garden, with winding corridors and lush green bamboo, creating a pleasant scenery; the third layer is the "Art Fragrance Study" in the main hall of the garden, displaying the print works of Wang Heng and Wang Xiaozheng, father and son of the Wang family. These exquisite artworks allow people to indulge and understand the world of art. Stepping into Drunk Garden, one can experience the charm of print art.
