Introduction

This place is known as the "high mountain basin" and "natural grassland", with charming natural scenery and pleasant climate, praised as a "paradise on earth". It has abundant alpine meadows and wetland fern plants, as well as rare animals such as storks, cranes, and spotted deer, with extremely high scientific research value. Surrounded by high mountains, there are nine spectacular mountain ridges to the east and west, covered with dense forests, showing a magnificent momentum. The streams here flow naturally down the mountain slope and form nine small lakes, hence the name Xiaojiu Lake.

07:30-17:30 (Monday-Sunday, April 1st-October 7th) 08:00-17:00 (Monday-Sunday, October 8th-next year March 31st) Tips: 1. Medical team members supporting Hubei who hold the "Lingxiu Hubei Gratitude Card" and their ID cards can obtain the "Shennong Card" and bring up to three relatives to visit the Shennongjia ecological tourism area for free throughout their lives (including: Shennong Peak, Dajiuhu, Guanmenshan, Shennong Altar, TianShengQiao, Tianyan and Huaganggu). 2. Medical team members supporting the Shennongjia Forest Area from Hebei who hold the "Shennongjia Passport" can bring their families to visit the six major scenic spots for free for the rest of their lives (no transfer fee required before December 31, 2024).

Transportation

There are shuttle buses to various scenic spots within Shennongjia scenic area before 7:30 every morning, but the number is limited. If you miss it, you can choose to charter a car.
