Mount Tianzhu, located by the Han River, boasts beautiful scenery. Throughout history, literary figures often visit Mount Tianzhu to appreciate the view, compose poems, and paint pictures. Poems praise its magnificence and grandeur, stating that it is the first peak towering into the clouds and the splendor it radiates makes it the most prominent among all other mountains. It casts a gentle veil of clouds, creating a serene and verdant atmosphere that evenly divides the sunlight and casts a tint of pink on the lotus flowers. Ascending to the summit, one is reluctant to leave the vastness of the world while being immersed in the abundant moisture of the dew and rain. The mountain has given birth to outstanding talents, just like a divine intervention. The White Cloud Temple is situated on Mount Tianzhu, founded during the Tang Dynasty. It is one of the four major Buddhist holy sites in southern Shaanxi and is listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Ankang. Behind the temple is a lotus pond, and in the front is a square pond. According to legends, observing the Heavenly Pool can indicate the water level of the Han River. Inside and outside the temple, there are lush pine and cypress trees, and the fragrance of plum blossoms fills the air. The main hall is adorned with intricately carved beams and painted rafters, gleaming with golden brilliance. Thousands of Buddha statues can be found, and the temple is bustling with incense offerings.

Fragrant Creek Cave Scenic Area

Located at the southern foot of Mount Bashan, north of the Han River, the Xiangxi Cave Scenic Spot is divided into five areas: Xiangxi Cave, Santianmen, Wenwushan, Wugongsan, and Niutiling. The surrounding mountains create a picturesque landscape. The meandering streams and colorful wildflowers in the valley add to the beauty. Among these flowers, there is a flower called "Xiangtuan Thorn" with yellow and white colors. In March, when the flowers bloom and fall, the whole valley is filled with fragrance, hence the name Xiangxi.
