Introduction

Taipinghu Forest Park is located in Mile City, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, a blessed place in colorful Yunnan. It covers an area of 42 square kilometers and is named after the construction of the Taiping Reservoir (which was built in 1950 by the famous anti-Japanese general Zhang Chong and the people). The park has dense forest vegetation and high concentration of negative ions. It is a world-class plateau forest health resort park that integrates sightseeing, tourism, vacation, entertainment, conferences, events, and wellness, with the characteristics of ecology, intelligence, and internationalization. The park is planned into eight functional areas: characteristic forest cabins town, love-themed cultural park, land art landscape park, plateau sports training base, plateau characteristic agricultural and forestry demonstration base, plateau characteristic nursery and flower production base, intangible cultural heritage exhibition, and lakeside wetland water leisure and entertainment center.
