Introduction

Yala Snow Mountain is located in the Taining Yuke Nature Reserve in Daofu County, about 163 kilometers from Kangding, 103 kilometers from Kangding Airport, 98 kilometers from Daofu County, and about 25 kilometers from the "Most Beautiful Landscape Avenue in China", Highway 318. The mountain peak, with an altitude of about 5,820 meters, is one of the famous landmarks on the Tea Horse Ancient Road, and one of the four sacred mountains recorded in the historical book "Geser King". It is known as the "Second Shambhala". The treasure cave on the mountain preserves the bow and arrows and armor left by Gesar King during his conquest, as well as scriptures handwritten by the 5th Dalai Lama Lobsang Gyatso, which makes the tourists yearn for it. Yala Snow Mountain is located on the best scenic route from Shangri-La to Batang to Danba Beauty Valley, making it a must-visit for photography enthusiasts.
