Xitang Historic Town of China, A poetic scroll of evening charm and morning tranquility
4.9
Introduction
This ancient town is one of the six ancient towns in Jiangnan, with a history of thousands of years, and is one of the birthplaces of ancient Wu and Yue cultures. The famous architectural groups include Zhongfu Hall, Zunwen Hall, and Xue Mansion, which are well-preserved representative works of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Xitang is known for its numerous bridges, lanes, and corridors, and its simple and honest folk customs can be heard from the oar strokes of boats transporting goods. At dusk, with the setting sun shining obliquely, fishing boats singing in the evenings, lanterns gleaming, the fragrance of wine wafting in the air, the beautiful scenery of the water town is like a poem or painting. Opening hours 24/7 (January 1 - December 31, Monday - Sunday)
Transportation Located at 258 Nanyuan Road, Xitang Town.
