Introduction

The Nanshan Museum is a comprehensive state-owned museum approved by the Nanshan District Government. Its work focuses on the collection and organization of cultural relics related to Nanshan's history, humanities research, and the ancient Maritime Silk Road and historical sites in the Guangfu region. The museum covers an area of about 19,000 square meters and has a building area of about 36,000 square meters. This makes the Nanshan Museum one of the largest museums in Shenzhen in terms of existing building area and one of the largest county-level museums in China. The Nanshan Museum is located in the central Nanshan District, adjacent to the Nanshan Library and Nanshan Sports and Cultural Center, forming the "Nanshan Cultural Golden Triangle" together. The museum has successfully hosted many exhibitions, such as the "Shining Treasures: Afghan National Museum Treasures Exhibition" and the "Starting Point of Oriental Civilization: Maritime Silk Road (Shenzhen) Cultural Relics Exhibition".
