Introduction

Mount Maoshan is a peak located on the border between Changzhou and Zhenjiang, divided into two parts: Jurong Maoshan and Jintan Maoshan. Jintan Maoshan is located in the west of Changzhou, with a larger area than the Jurong Mountain Range, and the main peak, Da Mao Peak, has an elevation of 372.5 meters. There are several beautiful reservoirs at the foot of the mountain, with pleasant natural scenery. Maoshan is the birthplace of the Qing sect of Taoism, known as the "home of gods and immortals in the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the home of prime ministers in the Tang and Song Dynasties." Attractions such as Maoshan Taoist Temple, Qianyuan Temple, and Jinniu Cave are distributed throughout the mountain, making it a desirable destination.
