Introduction

Located in the southwest of Shennongjia Forestry District, it is the essence scenic spot in Shennongjia and is known as a "must-visit place". It has the highest peak in Central China and offers opportunities to watch the rare golden monkeys. The scenery is beautiful, with lush trees and murmuring streams. There are also unique attractions in the area, such as the base camp of the Wildman Expedition Team, Xiaolongtan, and the Golden Monkey Ridge, which is full of golden monkeys. At the same time, the observation tower is the highest point accessible to ordinary tourists, where one can have a distant view of the highest peak in Central China – Shennongding.

Transportation

Visit Shennong Ding scenic spot, first go to Muyu Town in Shennongjia Forest District, then depart from Muyu Town to the scenic spot. You can take the bus from Muyu Town to Songbai Town and get off at the entrance of the scenic spot, which takes about 30 minutes. You can also rent a car or carpool with other tourists to go from the town to the scenic spot.
