The National Memorial Cemetery is a national key cultural heritage site and the largest and most well-preserved memorial park for frontline soldiers who died in the Anti-Japanese War. It was established in the winter of 1944 and contains several historically significant buildings, such as the Shrine of Loyalty, Martyr's Tombs, and Memorial Towers. The cemetery also preserves the inscriptions of several important figures, including the stone carvings and proclamations of Chiang Kai-shek, as well as the couplets of He Yingqin and generals of the 20th Group Army of the Expeditionary Force.
