Introduction
The history of Tuanshan Village is closely related to the Yi ethnic group. All buildings are constructed in a west-to-east direction, with green tiles covering the roof, white plaster on the exterior walls, and green brick used as wall skirts. All houses are built around a courtyard, with the main entrance commonly located on one side of the main building and reached through various shaped corridors. Today, the 21 traditional Han houses and ancient buildings in Tuanshan Village are fully preserved and numbered with doorplates, becoming homes for many families. The houses are compact and comfortable, and the wooden carvings on the beams and window sills are exquisitely crafted, with painted artworks becoming an indispensable part of the building decoration.
