Introduction
The Watchtower is located in the southeast of Huangyao Ancient Town, built with lookout holes and gun holes. Together with its high stone walls and the location near water, it forms a strong defense system that is easy to defend and difficult to attack. Before the Republic of China era, the Watchtower was an important defense structure in the ancient town, responsible for night patrols and guarding to ensure the safety of the town.
