Guiping Xishan
Guiping Xishan in Guangxi is one of China's famous Seven Great Western Mountains, also known as Silingshan. It is named after its location 1 kilometer west of Guiping City. It gradually became a popular tourist destination since the establishment of the Guiping County during the Southern Liang Dynasty.
Longtan Forest Park is surrounded by a range of mountains, with peaks overlapping and thousands of peaks resembling screens, reaching the sky and with numerous peculiar rocks, creating a magnificent and enchanting landscape. The continuous mountains resemble dancing green dragons.
Guiping National Geopark
The geological park features various granite landforms in Xishan, Danxia landforms in Baishi Mountain, canyon landforms in Dateng Gorge, and sandstone peaks in Longtan, as well as typical geological structures and water features such as cold springs, waterfalls, and rivers. It is well-preserved in its natural state. It concentrates a rich variety of geological landscapes in a limited area, which is rare in the southeastern region of Guangxi and even in the whole country.
