Introduction
Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the Dai Long Bridge is located in the ancient town of Huangyao and is a major highlight of the town's scenery. This arched bridge made of bluestone consists of two arches and spans the Xiaozhu River to the east of Xinxing Street, and is the largest of the 15 ancient bridges in Huangyao. This bridge is not only a passage for pedestrians, but the slabs on the surface of the bridge can also play a diversionary role during floods, hence, it remains intact after thousands of years of history. Worth mentioning is the Long Temple on the right bank of the Dai Long Bridge, providing a comfortable resting place. In addition, the strange peaks and rocks around the Dai Long Bridge add a lot of mystery to this place. Countless photographers and painters are attracted to the beautiful scenery here, and the film "The Looming Storm" has also been filmed here. If you want to capture the beauty of the Dai Long Bridge, it is best to choose early morning when the water is like a mirror and the sun slants on the bridge.
