Introduction

Nanling National Forest Park is located at the source of the Beijiang River, a tributary of the Pearl River, in the middle section of the Nanling Mountains. It preserves the most primitive forests in Guangdong, and among the 30 peaks over 1,000 meters above sea level, Shikengkong is the highest peak in Guangdong. Due to abundant rainfall, the streams here have large flow rates, forming many rapids and waterfalls. The four wonders of Nanling include the Waterfall Corridor Scenic Area, the "Xiaohuangshan" Primitive Forest Scenic Area, the Shikengkong Peak Scenic Area, and the Water Valley Scenic Area.

Transportation

Take a bus from Shaoguan Xihexi Bus Station or Shaoguan Train Station to Nanling. You can also take a bus from various bus stations in Shaoguan to Ruyuan County, then rent a mini van in Ruyuan (approximately 50-80 yuan) or take a shuttle bus to Naling National Forest Park at Daqiao Town.
