Introduction

Located at No. 213 Wenming Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Provincial Sun Yat-sen Library was established in 1912. It was formerly known as the "South Garden" during the Ming Dynasty and later served as the book depository of the Guangya Bookstore during the Qing Dynasty. The "Anti-Wind Pavilion" established by Sun Yat-sen here in his early years was a secret base for his revolutionary activities. This historic library has a rich collection of books and enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. Additionally, the Guangdong Provincial Sun Yat-sen Library is one of the first batch of national key heritage preservation units approved by the State Council.
