Introduction

Guangzhou Museum, located in Zhenhai Tower, Yuexiu Mountain, Guangzhou, was officially opened to the public on February 11, 1929. It is one of the earliest museums established in China, collecting historical artifacts related to Guangzhou, organizing exhibitions, and conducting scientific research. Zhenhai Tower, the museum's location, was built in the 13th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1380) and has a history of over 630 years. It is a famous ancient building in Guangzhou and is known as the "First Tower South of the Five Ridges." "Zhenhai Layered Tower" and "Yuexiu Layered Tower" are among the Eight Sights of Yangcheng in the Qing Dynasty and modern times respectively.
