Introduction

This is one of the three major botanical gardens nationwide, with a huge scale. It is the oldest, most diverse, and largest subtropical botanical garden in China, known as the "World Expo of Strange Trees" that will never disappear, and renowned for its beauty as the "Green Gemstone of Southern China". There are several scenic areas including the palm plant area, shaded forest nature reserve, and subtropical evergreen rainy forest area, where visitors can enjoy the rare flowers, grass, and highly ornamental trees. Every March, the azaleas bloom in the park, forming a picturesque scene with various colors of pink, white, and other flowers. Moreover, the climate is pleasant all year round, making it suitable for year-round tourism.
