Hongli Village is located southeast of Mashizhen, Shixing County, under the jurisdiction of Mashizhen. Hongli Village used to be one of the impoverished villages in Guangdong Province, but after transformation and construction, it has become a beautiful rural village. Many historical and cultural buildings are well-preserved. When you arrive in Hongli Village, the first thing that catches your eye is the vast farmland and swaying rice fields. On the lucky day we visited, the sunlight was bright and beautiful. As the sun slowly set, it disappeared into the rice fields. With the natural breeze and the setting sun, Hongli Village became even more picturesque. While strolling leisurely, we happened to encounter the returning herdsmen. Loyal old oxen, hardworking farmers, and the vast green rice fields formed a harmonious scene that was difficult to disturb, like a true portrayal of "The Song of the Farmers."

The halo of dusk, the favorite of photographers, is the best combination with the beautiful scenery and women on sunny evenings. At this time, she is more beautiful, as the strands of hair in the wind, stirring whose heartstrings? The greedy evening breeze dares to kiss her, gently letting down each strand of her beautiful hair.

Shekukuzhai is one of the natural villages in Hongli Village. It is named Qinglongzhai because its terrain resembles a green dragon in its nest. Later generations often called dragons snakes, so Qinglongzhai gradually evolved into Shekukuzhai. The most famous building in Shekukuzhai is the Yuwansinian Wai Lou. Due to its remote location, Shekukuzhai was often harassed by bandits and wild beasts. The earth building called Yuwansinian Wai Lou, with its arrowholes and gun ports, made great contributions to Shekukuzhai. People used earth cannons to drive away the bandits and chase away the wild beasts, and have lived and prospered there ever since.

The Lai family moved here from the Ma Shi Gao Shui Huang Tang Xia Guan Ting and named it "Xinwu Family".
