Introduction

Nanjing Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing City, covering a total area of 49.37 square kilometers. Its core design concept is "repairing the Heavenly Gate, building the Holy Path, hiding the Underground Palace, displaying the Twin Towers, developing the Buddhist Temple, and promoting culture." The zone aims to protect the historical and cultural relics of Niushou Mountain and restore its natural ecological landscape. Niushou Mountain, also known as Tianque Mountain, is one of the four famous scenic spots in Jinling. It is named after its twin peaks resembling the horns of a bull. It is a significant part of Nanjing's history. Niushou Mountain is known for its beautiful scenery and is often referred to as "the head of the spring bull." It has many natural attractions such as Niushou Smoke Mist, Xianhua Qingxing, and Zutang Zhenxi, as well as historical sites like Yue Fei's Anti-Golden Army Fortress, cliff stone carvings, Hongjue Temple Pagoda, and Zheng He Cultural Park. It has attracted countless emperors, generals, literati, and scholars to visit and leave behind more than 400 poems.

Niushoushan is located in Jiangning District of Nanjing, and there are multiple ways to reach it. 1. Nanjing Lukou International Airport: Take subway line S1 (airport line) from the airport, and arrive at Focheng West Road Station in about 30 minutes. After exiting the station, walk for about 15-20 minutes along Focheng West Road, or transfer to bus route 754 to the east entrance visitor center of the scenic area. 2. Train Station: - Nanjing Railway Station: Take subway line 1 from Nanjing Railway Station, and arrive at Software Avenue Station in about 30 minutes. After exiting the station, transfer to bus route 754 to the east station of Niushoushan Scenic Area and reach the visitor center near the east entrance. - Nanjing South Railway Station: Take subway line S1 from Nanjing South Railway Station, and arrive at Focheng West Road Station in about 10 minutes. After exiting the station, walk for 15-20 minutes along Focheng West Road or transfer to bus route 754 to the east station of Niushoushan Scenic Area and reach the visitor center near the east entrance. 3. Pier: - Nanjing Zhongshan Pier: Take bus route 31 from the pier to Gulou Station, transfer to subway line 1, and arrive at Software Avenue Station in about 30 minutes. After exiting the station, transfer to bus route 754 to the east station of Niushoushan Scenic Area and reach the visitor center near the east entrance. - Wumadu Cruise Terminal: Take bus route 307 from the pier to Shangyuanmen Station, transfer to bus route 1 to Xuanwuhu Tunnel Station, and transfer to subway line 1. From Xinnongfeng Road Station, arrive at Software Avenue Station in about 25 minutes. After exiting the station, transfer to bus route 754 to the east station of Niushoushan Scenic Area and reach the visitor center near the east entrance. 4. Bus: - Nanjing Bus Terminal: Take subway line 1 from Nanjing Station and arrive at Software Avenue Station in about 30 minutes. After exiting the station, transfer to bus route 754 to the east station of Niushoushan Scenic Area and reach the visitor center near the east entrance. - Nanjing Bus South Station: Take subway line S1 from Nanjing South Station and arrive at Focheng West Road Station in about 10 minutes. After exiting the station, transfer to bus route 754 to the east station of Niushoushan Scenic Area and reach the visitor center near the east entrance. 5. Internal transportation: The main transportation inside the scenic area is electric bus. The fare is about 20 yuan/person, and valid for the day. East Line: Enter the park from the east entrance and take the bus from Niushou East Station > Foding Temple Station > Tianque East Station > Tianque West Station > Yinlong Lake Station > Return to Niushou East Station. West Line: Niushou West Station > Sanbao Station > Tianque West Station (round trip).
