Introduction

Xiling Snow Mountain is a world natural heritage site, habitat of giant pandas, national scenic spot, national forest park, and a AAAA-level tourist attraction. The highest peak in the scenic area is Da Xue Teng at an altitude of about 5364 meters, which is the highest peak in Chengdu. The Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu praised the beautiful scenery of Xiling and left the famous line "the window contains the autumn snow of Xiling". Xiling Snow Mountain is named for this. In addition to having a ski resort, the scenic area also has more than 10 ice and snow activities, such as snowmobiles and sled dog rides. Xiling Snow Mountain is divided into the front mountain and the back mountain, referring to the back mountain as it is better for both scenery and leisure and entertainment.

08:30-17:30 (Full day) (January 1-December 31, Monday-Sunday) Note: Cable car discount policy Superior teachers and principals with valid certificates are exempt from cable car tickets. Holders of national tour guide certificates, travel agency manager qualification certificates, and leader certificates are exempt from cable car tickets. Children under six years old (including) or under 1.2 meters in height are exempt from cable car tickets. Active-duty military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and disabled military personnel with valid certificates are exempt from cable car tickets.

Transportation

Car: 1. Take a direct car to Xiling Snow Mountain at Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station, departing at 9:00 and 9:30 (the bus station may increase the frequency of buses during peak season, please consult the Chadianzi station for specific departure times). 2. There are approximately two cars per day from Chengdu Xinnanmen to Xiling Town.
