Introduction

The Pingshan Gorge is located approximately 10 kilometers east of the Hefeng County town. Throughout the ages, all the feudal lords built their manors in Pingshan, and today many of their ruins still remain. The surrounding cliffs of Pingshan are steep on all sides, and the water roams through the gorge. Looking up from all around, one can only see the towering cliffs and winding streams.
