Introduction

There is a mountain named Dingjunshan located 5 kilometers south of Mian county in Shaanxi province. This mountain is composed of 12 peaks and is known as the Twelve Connected Peaks. Its third peak is the main peak, which is 833 meters high and covered with dense pine and cypress trees, with an ancient monument on the top. There is a large depression behind the mountain called Yangtianwa, which is said to be able to hold ten thousand soldiers. According to legend, this was the place where Zhuge Liang practiced his military training. On the first peak on the west side, there is a huge rock that is over 3 meters high and less than 2 meters wide. There is a gap on this rock that is said to have been used to block arrows, serving as a shield at that time. The area at the foot of the mountain is an open space called Wuhouping, which also preserves the remains of Huang Zhong's killing bridge. Dingjun Mountain is one of the ancient battlefields, and also a strategic location valued by military strategists throughout history.
