Introduction

Wuluozhonglishan, also known as Bawuxiang or Linjun, is considered the ancestral homeland of the Tujia people. The common ancestors of over 8 million Tujia people were born in the Chixue Cave on this mountain. Every year, descendants of Tujia people from Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Chongqing come here to worship their ancestors and trace their family history. The mountain is surrounded by water and reaches a maximum elevation of about 384.8 meters. A total of 376 steps made of blue stone lead to the top of the mountain, symbolizing the constant pursuit of progress.
