Introduction

The length of Wujiang in Youyang County is 1070 kilometers, with about 60 kilometers being the most scenic "Wujiang Hundred-Mile Gallery". The Wujiang Hundred-Mile Gallery includes the section of Wujiang main stream from Gongtan Ancient Town in Youyang County to Wanmu Township, including Gongtan Ancient Town Scenic Area, Apengjiang Drift Scenic Area, Qingquan Corridor Bridge Scenic Area, Ma'an City Scenic Area, Wanmu Yonghe Temple, Shilin Scenic Area, Three-Jiaqian Stone Forest, Hanging Burial Scenic Area, and Changxi Gou Ecological Tourism Scenic Area. Gongtan Ancient Town has a history of over 1700 years, and the ancient Ba Guo Manwang Cave was built in the Warring States Period. Ma'an City is a cultural relic site with the rebellion of the Southern Song Dynasty's Jin Head Monk, and it is of great research value. The Wujiang Hundred-Mile Gallery is rich in ethnic customs, with the ancient Tujia wedding custom of carrying the bride on the back and crying, the unique Baogu Lantern Opera, Yang Opera, Mamar Lantern, and the wood leaf love song that expresses love between young men and women, full of charm.

1. To go from downtown Chongqing to Pengshui, take a Wujia Boat at Wanzu Pier in Pengshui and sail up the Wujiang River to Gongtan, passing through the Wujiang Gallery. 2. Join a group tour of the Three Gorges Cruise, departing from Chongqing's Chaotianmen Pier. There are 3-5 ships per week, departing at 8pm each night and arriving at Wujiang Gallery the next morning (actual itinerary set by local travel agency). Following the "Thousand Mile Gallery," you can enjoy visiting the three major tourist counties of Wulong, Pengshui, and Youyang as you sail against the current of the Yangtze River to the Wujiang River. The picturesque scenery of the mountains and rivers along the Banks is highly sought after. The cruise ship departs at 8pm 3-5 times a week and arrives at Wujiang Gallery the next morning. At 9am on the second day, the ship arrives in Wulong, and returns on the third day at 1pm (actual itinerary set by local travel agency).
