Introduction

The Yancheng Red-crowned Crane Wetland Ecotourism Area is located in Tinghu District in the eastern part of Yancheng City. It is part of the national-level rare bird nature reserve in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 16,000 acres. It is known as the "Pearl of the Yellow Sea and an Ecological Corridor", and is one of the ten new scenic spots in Yancheng. It has received many honors such as Jiangsu Provincial Science Education Base, Jiangsu Province Ecotourism Demonstration Area, National Environmental Protection Science Education Base, National Ecological Environment Science Education Base, National Forestry Science Popularization Base, and National AAAA-level tourist attraction. It was also included in the World Natural Heritage Site in 2019. The tourism area is centered around the culture of the red-crowned crane, showcasing the profound wetland culture and crane culture.
