Introduction

The Pingshan Tourist Scenic Area, located at the intersection of 110 degrees east longitude and 30 degrees north latitude, is known as the "Xianbenna, Shiwai Ancient Peach Blossom Land" in China. The name comes from its flat and upright mountain shape on the top. Gu Caiyan, a famous playwright of the Qing Dynasty, once called this place "people say this is a Peach Blossom Land, I don't believe it is so magical". The terrain and landforms of the Pingshan Canyon are unique. It is nearly 20 kilometers long from north to south and less than 5 kilometers wide from east to west. The surrounding cliffs stand tall, with streams flowing around, and the peaks and valleys have a height difference of more than 1000 meters, forming rare canyon and rift landscapes. In the developed canyon section of the scenic area, there are countless spectacular attractions, which are eye-opening. Here, it contains magical natural landscapes, ancient chieftain culture, red revolutionary history, traditional culture of multi-ethnic groups, as well as magnificent mountains and rivers, clear streams, steep canyons, and grand waterfalls and other natural landscapes. It retains the primitive and simple mountain and water culture, making it a world-class tourist destination.
