Introduction
Wushan Shuilian Cave, located in Wushan County, west of Tianshui City, is a scenic area mainly known for its grotto murals, temples, and natural landscapes. Since the later period of the Sixteen Kingdoms, the construction of the Shuilian Cave grottoes began, and it became a famous grotto site in Tianshui, second only to the Maijishan Grottoes, during the Northern Wei, Northern Zhou, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Song, and Yuan dynasties.
