Introduction
Xinghu Lake is located in the northern suburbs of Zhaoqing City, about four kilometers from the city center. The lake covers an area of about 8,000 acres, equivalent to the size of West Lake. The lake surface is divided into five parts, including East Lake, Qinglian Lake, Central Lake, Bohai Lake, and Lihu Lake. The entire lake surface is surrounded by more than 20 kilometers of lake embankments, and the willows and phoenix trees growing on the embankments form several green belts, which float beautifully on the clear and transparent water.
To go to Xinghu Lake, you can take a bus from Guangzhou Provincial Station to Zhaoqing, with buses running every 15 minutes. After arriving at the Dinghu Mountain Archway on the 321 National Road in Zhaoqing, walk 2 kilometers to the ticket office of Dinghu Mountain. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Guangzhou Yuexiu South to Zhaoqing, get off at the Dinghu Shuikeng Station, and then walk or take an electric car for about 15 minutes to reach the ticket office of Dinghu Mountain.
