Introduction

The ancient city of Yongning has a long history. It was initially supervised by General Yuchi Jingde during the Tang Dynasty. It was destroyed during the Jin and Liao periods due to wars, and was only rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty and renamed "Yongning County". Today, the ancient city of Yongning still retains some ancient buildings. The Yongning Catholic Church, completed in the late 19th century, injects colorful Western colors into this place. Although it is not large in size, the exquisite Yongning ancient city not only has a lively night scene, but also holds grand folk festivals during the Chinese New Year every year. It is a must-visit cultural landscape here.
