Introduction

Net Pure Sound Temple, formerly known as Gujian Mountain Temple, is a famous Buddhist holy site in the Bashu region. It is located on Gujian Mountain in Jigongzui, Qijiang, Chongqing. It was first built in the year 960 (during the Song Dynasty), and sits at an elevation of 1146 meters. It is 9 kilometers away from Qijiang County and a 1-hour drive from downtown Chongqing.

Take a bus from Chongqing Nanping Bus Station to Qijiang (1 hour, approximately 28 yuan), transfer to Bus No.103 and get off at Lingyuan (10 minutes), then transfer to a bus heading to Jigongzhui (approximately 3 yuan) to reach Gujian Mountain Scenic Area.
