Introduction

Jinfoshan Bitan Scenic Area is lush with vegetation, with a forest coverage rate of 96%. The annual rainfall is around 1400 millimeters, with about 260 foggy days. The period from November to March is the snowy season. It is remarkable to have a snowy season in such a low-latitude and low-altitude area, indicating the special climate of the region. Take a bus from Chongqing Nanping Station to Nanchuan Xin Station (there is no direct bus to Jinfo Mountain West Slope, you need to transfer to the old station and take a tricycle for 3 yuan to get there). The departure times of the passenger buses from Nanchuan to Jinfo Mountain are: 7:40, 9:30, 11:30, 1:30, and 3:30. The buses usually stop running and return at around 17:00. To go to Bitan Yougu, take the bus at the West Slope gate for about 3 minutes, or walk for about 20 minutes to the entrance.
