Heping Town is located in northwest Fujian Province. It has a long history and is one of the oldest ancient towns in Fujian. It is a rare castle-style village in China, with many unique ancient buildings, making it a national-level tourist resource. Heping Town has a rich heritage of folk culture, with many unique folk activities, such as the Nuo dance, known as a living fossil, and the unique dragon lantern candle bridge. Heping also has "Three Specials" - fruit display, star-watching tea, and floating tofu, which are very attractive to tourists.
