Introduction
The natural scenery of Huaminglou is not particularly outstanding, but it is a highly regarded tourist destination because it is the hometown of Liu Shaoqi. Liu Shaoqi was born on November 24, 1898 in a farmhouse in Chanzichong, Huaminglou. His former home is a quaint adobe courtyard with a water pond in front and surrounded by green trees. In addition to living quarters, there are also many farm tool rooms, pig pens, kitchens, and a study for children in the courtyard. The Liu Shaoqi Memorial Hall is located about 500 meters from the former home, near the North Chongwei Pond.
