Introduction

Since the establishment of Antong County by the Qing government in 1876, the region has been known as "Antong". Over the past century, it has accumulated a unique history and culture of the Qing dynasty, the Republic of China, and the colonial period. Among them, the "Antong Old Street" has become a epitome of this history. This project mainly refers to the appearance of the old street buildings in DanDong from the 1920s to the 1930s, replicating some iconic buildings and street names, and using the main architectural symbols of the Republic of China as exterior wall and street decoration. The project includes two parts: the Old Antong Food Street and the Antong Tourism Reception Service Center, which integrates nostalgia tourism, classic cuisine, and tourism shopping. In this project, the exterior and interior shops are designed with classic Antong architectural elements as the background, complemented by old objects and street sculptures, presenting the old street scenery. The project includes century-old brands, branded catering, Northeast specialties, marine products, local snacks, folk art performances, all named after famous old streets during the Antong period such as Zhongfu Street, Tianhou Palace Street, Xinglong Street, and Jubao Street.
