Introduction

After crossing the Yixiu Laya Pass, the journey is mainly downhill and extra care should be taken when driving. It takes about over an hour to reach Sangju Village, and then another 20 kilometers to reach Chayu County. "Chayu" means "a place where people live." It is bordered by Myanmar and India to the south, and Motuo to the west, with an altitude of over 2000 meters above sea level. The climate here is mild and moist all year round, and the scenery is far different from the impression of Tibet, so it is also known as the "Xueyu Xiaojiangnan" (Snowy Small Jiangnan).
