Introduction

Located at the northern end of Tiananmen Square on the central axis of Beijing, Tiananmen Gate is one of the most splendid ancient city gates in Chinese history. Every visitor to Beijing must visit it. Looking at the gate from Tiananmen Square, you can see it standing in the distance. Walking to the foot of the gate, you will find that the red gate that appeared in textbooks and on TV is just a step away from you. The interior of the gate is beautifully decorated in an antique style. You can visit the reception hall of the past and view the exhibitions to learn about the historical changes of Tiananmen Gate and the important events held there. Many tourists imitate Chairman Mao's iconic wave to commemorate the founding ceremony and take photos as souvenirs, which gives people a sense of incredible time travel and national pride. Moreover, the night view of Tiananmen Gate is also very beautiful. When night falls, the landscape lights on the gate illuminate, shining in harmony with other buildings on Tiananmen Square, adding to the magnificent spectacle.
