Introduction

The Liuzhou Confucian Temple was first built in the second year of the Tang Dynasty's Zhenguan era, with a history of over 1300 years. After several relocations and renovations, the temple has undergone ups and downs throughout the dynasties. However, in 1928, a big fire broke out and caused major damage to the temple. It was not until 2010, after several years of reconstruction, that the Liuzhou Confucian Temple was reopened as the Liuzhou Confucianism Museum. The newly rebuilt temple is grand and magnificent, with a building area of 10,000 square meters and covering an area of 98.33 mu, ranking fourth in size nationwide.
