Introduction

Kuixing is regarded as the god who controls the rise and fall of literature in Han mythology. The Shuanglang Kuixing Pavilion, located in Shuanglang Village, Shuanglang Town, was built in the third year of the Guangxu reign in the Qing Dynasty (1877 AD). This three-story wooden structure with a total area of 9.75 meters and a total depth of 9.8 meters has 36 columns extending to the ground, a width of 3.2 meters for the central hall, and 2.4 meters for the side halls. On the ridge purlin and beam of the third floor, there is an inscription indicating the year of "the 24th year of the Republic of China, Yi Hai, in the Qing Dynasty in the month of Qinghe". The main structure is sturdy, with exquisite decorations such as brackets, pendants, and flower boards. Most of the existing wooden structures were repaired in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935 AD), maintaining the architectural style of that era.
