Introduction

Poshang Grassland Scenic Area is located in the northern part of Panxian County, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, 89 kilometers away from the county seat. This area belongs to the high-altitude area in the north of Pan, with the highest altitude of 2,857 meters (the second highest in Guizhou) and the lowest of 740 meters, and is a plateau mountainous landscape. The scenic spot is mainly composed of basalt and karst landforms, with cool climate and inhabited by minority groups such as Yi, Bai, Miao, and Buyi. This area is rich in resources, including tens of thousands of acres of Poshang grassland pasture, tens of thousands of acres of dwarf oak forest, Shahe Longtan Mouth Cave, Tiansheng Bridge, Gesho River Canyon Large Outwater Cave, Natural Skylight, and 42 natural scenery and cultural landscape attractions such as ancient banyan tree group, grassland lakes, thousands of acres of dwarf oak forests, thousands of acres of natural forests, Long Tianyou Ancient Tomb, Yi Village, Yi "Torch Festival", Bai "Torch Festival" and karst peak forest.
